Voice / Accent Coaching

Test yourself to see if Voice Coaching will benefit you:
  • I have to repeat myself to be understood
  • I have trouble speaking loudly
  • People find it hard to hear me in a noisy environment
  • I run out of breath when I’m speaking
  • My voice feels tired at the end of the day
  • People don’t understand what I say
  • I don’t get the attention of my audience
  • I slur my words and mumble
  • My voice seems too high
  • My voice seems too low

If you find yourself answering "Yes" to any of the above, you will be likely to benefit from voice coaching.

What do Voice Coaching / Accent Modification sessions involve?

Future Visits: 30-minute Voice Coaching Sessions ($50 per session)

The future visits are designed to modify your voice or accent based on the information obtained from the Voice Assessment.
These future visits use specific resources from the ESL RULES Programme developed by Speech and Language Therapist Lynda Katz-Wilner.

Voice Coaching sessions focus on you in your work, professional or social setting. You will learn both the importance of, and the use of, the PAUSE and fluency of speech.
You will also learn about pacing and changing intonation patterns as well as how to present in a group and in an interview. The programme will also teach you how to use your voice to communicate with confidence.
Throughout all the voice coaching sessions you will receive worksheets, handouts and further information to assist you during the sessions which you can take home to practice together with your family.

It is recommended to complete a minimum of 12 weekly voice sessions in order to get the maximum benefit out of the voice coaching / accent modification programme.
